RIP Andre Braugher
The great actor passed away a couple of days ago. He was 61. (Too young!) While most will remember him from his role in the tv comedy "Brooklyn Nine-nine", I will always associate him in two roles -- as Detective Frank Pembleton in the 90s tv show "Homicide: Life on the Street" (where he would occasionally be partnered with the late Richard Belzer's John Munch) and as Cpl. Thomas Searles in the movie "Glory" (a role he should have gotten an Oscar nomination for, IMO). You will be missed, but never forgotten. :sigh:
Tears of joy...
...are flowing after the latest episode of The Mandalorian. (No Spoilers!) One word: redemption. More than one word: Long.Awaited.Redemption. (God Bless whomever made the decision....)
RIP Kevin Conroy
The voice of the iconic 90s Batman/Bruce Wayne has died of cancer at the age of 66. You will be missed. RIP Mr. Conroy
October = Horror Movie Month
'Tis the season for horror movies and, yeah, I realize that I am behind 5 days, so I will just have to double up! Some I will be watching in no particular order: It (the original miniseries with Tim Curry and the late John Ritter) The Exorcist (just the first movie) The Omen (all 3 theatrical releases and the made-for-TV movie) The Devil's Backbone Invasion of the Body Snatchers (the 1978 remake with Donald Sutherland, Jeff Goldblum and the late Leonard Nimoy) 28 Days Later The VVitch Mr. Harrigan's Phone Whatever Happened to Baby Jane? Candyman (the original)
